About 15 years ago, I was searching for balance in my career and personal life. I knew I needed more exercise, but I really didn’t like the gym. I stumbled across a yoga class and really enjoyed how yoga made me feel afterwards…calm and more settled. Through the years, yoga has allowed me to improve my fitness, deepen my self-awareness, and be more connected with others and the world around me.
After honing my yoga skills for several years in Vancouver I was lucky enough to be formally trained as a teacher at the Akhanda (holistic) Yoga family in the North Indian town of Rishkesh. This Yoga school is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas and was recently listed as the world’s number one Yoga Retreat in an article by Jane Eddington in Yoga Magazine UK.
I am a certified Akhanda (holistic) yoga YTT200 teacher with years of experience.
